inon Muallem after having been immersed in the Middle Eastern musical forms, `maqam` music of the Ottoman times, and the classical Jewish music of his own roots, is setting a new destination in his musical career by combining all that he has accumulated in his luggage with Jazz, creating an ethno Jazz project, this album. The album is the initial project of Yinon Muallem Quintet in which Muallem tries to stay optimistic in unpromising geography, the Middle East.

Recorded at Studio 91 in Newbury, alongside producer and engineer Sam Winfield, this latest offering is still vintage Trower, but with a more developed sound that doesn't impede Trower's ability as a songwriter.

The accordion quartet Danças Ocultas with Artur Fernandes, Filipe Cal, Filipe Ricardo, and Francisco Miguel São is known with their three decades of a career as one the great contemporary musical treasures of the Portuguese music scene.
