The deed book index comments that this ranch was “the lands formerly known as Lockhart Ranch”. The entry in the deed book itself comments: “Tr. 43 Map 36 Tracts A, B, & C”. The present day location of this land is at the southeast corner of 9th Street and Cutler Ave. It may have extended to the south where I-40 is now.
