The Hogshead addition was platted in 1946. It was to have 33 blocks. The deed says in its comments that it was “Now in Winona Addition”. What remains of the addition is now the Winona Extension, which is directly west of the Winona Addition. It is located on Cherokee Road NW along 10th and 11th Streets. Cherokee Road originally was called Hogshead Ave., before the 1952 change.
