This addition was platted in 1926 at 32 lots. The location is now on the site of Kirtland Air Force Base and the Sunport. It was one of two subdivisions (the other was Columbia Heights) located in the area of Kirtland Air Force Base. Lyle Avenue runs roughly in line with Randolph Avenue. Morningside ran straight through the center. The eastern boundary lined up with Washington Ave. The far NE corner of the addition touched the SW corner of Columbia Heights, approximately where Doris and Randolph streets intersect.

The Digital Sanborn Maps collection is a browsable set of thousands of digitized images of the 1867–1970 Sanborn maps for cities and towns in New Mexico.
The maps contain information such as the outline of each building, the size, shape and construction materials, heights, and function of structures, location of windows and doors. The maps also give street names, street and sidewalk widths, property boundaries, building use, and house and block numbers.
