This addition has a handwritten comment in the deed book: “The proposed East Mountain Road addition does not appear on record. Lots sold out of said proposed addition are posted in this account”. Another comment reads “1-19 proposed not filed (sic)”. The deed is dated 1948. The deed names Pedro C. Martinez most prominently in the few entries there are. Pedro Martinez is in the 1947 City Directory living at 1117 Highland Road (Edith). The MRGCD deeds for Map 37 lists Pedro C. Martinez several times granting land in tract 110. This leads me to believe that the East Mountain Road, which was never platted, is in the area of Mountain Road between Broadway and Edith.

The Digital Sanborn Maps collection is a browsable set of thousands of digitized images of the 1867–1970 Sanborn maps for cities and towns in New Mexico.
The maps contain information such as the outline of each building, the size, shape and construction materials, heights, and function of structures, location of windows and doors. The maps also give street names, street and sidewalk widths, property boundaries, building use, and house and block numbers.
