The public records search brings up an Alamo subdivision that is not the same one referred to in Bernalillo County Abstract and Title Company deed book. The property the BCAT collection records refer to is in the Santa Barbara neighborhood. It was platted in 1920, predating the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District by three years. The property's legal description changed after that time. Through matching the MRGCD tract references in the deed book, we deduce that the original 18 lots are most likely those outlined in red on the accompanying map. The location is between Broadway and Edith, just north of Odelia Road.

The Digital Sanborn Maps collection is a browsable set of thousands of digitized images of the 1867–1970 Sanborn maps for cities and towns in New Mexico.
The maps contain information such as the outline of each building, the size, shape and construction materials, heights, and function of structures, location of windows and doors. The maps also give street names, street and sidewalk widths, property boundaries, building use, and house and block numbers.
