Goyen, William
(1915-1983) Lived in various locations around the U.S. including Taos. Novelist, short story writer, playwright, poet, editor, and teacher. Noted works: The House of Breath (novel), Ghost and Flesh (short story collection), and Three Women: a memoir which features biographies of Mabel Dodge Luhan, Taos painter Dorothy Brett, and Goyen's friend and benefactor Frieda Lawrence.
