Sister to Harvey Fergusson Jr. The Erna Fergusson Branch of the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Library System is named in her honor.

AKA: Founders Day Fiesta. Held every April in Old Town Albuquerque, with a Founder's Procession parade with people in period costume. Featured are the "five eras" of Albuquerque's history: the Native American Era, Spanish Era, Mexican Era, Territorial Era and Albuquerque today.

Annual event held early fall 1928-1931, organized by the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. The Pageant was a tourist attraction that brought local Hispanics and Native Americans to showcase their culture. A replica of a Pueblo village and grandstands were erected, and there was a rodeo, Spanish fiesta, and ceremonial dances. Indigenous crafts and food were represented.

(1922-2015) Longtime public school teacher in Albuquerque who also taught science statewide via a show on KNME-TV; it is estimated that "Dr. George" taught science to one quarter of New Mexicans. Went on to serve for three years as a very popular weatherman on an Albuquerque station; he proved so popular that a competing station sent tapes of his weathercast to stations nationwide, hoping he might get hired out of the Albuquerque market.
