- Daily, Bill(1927-2018) Actor, comedian; best known for his roles in I Dream of Jeannie and The Bob Newhart Show. Resident of Albuquerque; often appeared in stage productions and hosted with radio station KBQI.

- Duran y Chaves, Fernando(1651-171?) Don Fernando Duran y Chaves II, AKA: "The Capitan". Fled with his family from the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. Returned to New Mexico and became a councilor to Governor de Vargas. In gratitude for his role in the reconquest of New Mexico, Diego de Vargas gave him the Atrisco Land Grant in 1692. Circa 1693 Duran y Chaves moved to his ancestral home in Bernalillo; De Vargas died in that home in 1703.
