Local History Guides

Topics in Local History

Staff have created guides exploring specific aspects of New Mexico history, including the role of African-Americans, a history of Native American residential and boarding schools, and a timeline of Albuquerque's public library system. With these guides we hope to assist both researchers and the interested public to learn more about the resources available on topics that have been in the news recently, or are little-known avenues that deserve exploration. There are many facets to the Land of Enchantment, and we hope to shine a light on as many as possible.
