On Display: Bubonicon

This exhibit has been generously created by Bubonicon, especially for Star Trek Week at Cherry Hills Library.

Join us March 1-8, 2025 for 8 days of free events celebrating Star Trek and space exploration!

Bubonicon is New Mexico’s longest-running Sci-Fi & Fantasy literary and arts convention – first held in 1969 and officially named in 1971 as a nod to Albuquerque’s history of bubonic plague outbreaks.

Held over one weekend in August, Bubonicon features panels and presentations from top authors, artists and scientists.  You can also participate in a costume contest, attend the art show, charity auctions, fan programming and so much more!

Through the attendance of the 2024 convention, Bubonicon was able to donate over $3,500.00 to non-profits and charities.
