On Display: Bittersweet Harvest - The Bracero Program 1942-1964
In partnership with the Smithsonian Institute and the National Museum of American History, the San Pedro Library is hosting the traveling exhibit Bittersweet Harvest: The Bracero Program 1942-1964. Through photographs and audio experts from oral histories, this exhibition examines the experiences of bracero workers and their families while providing insight into Mexican American history and historical context to today’s debates on guest worker programs.
