The two services below, Ethos Literacy and ReadWest, are two of our community resources providing fantastic free adult literacy education. Although neither is a part of the Public Library we appreciate the work they do and want to bring awareness to their resources.
The mission of Ethos Literacy is to create a place where students feel safe to tackle obstacles and accomplish all of their goals. We offer a variety of opportunities to help students be the best version of themselves, while having some fun along the way.
Formerly Reading Works, Ethos Literacy has served over 1400 adults in the Albuquerque area and provides services with a volunteer network of tutors and community partnerships. Adult literacy is about individual dignity, building strong families, and an inclusive community where everyone has opportunity.
