BrainFuse JobNow provides practical tools to help you get a job.

Live Interview Coaching: Patrons can brush up on interview techniques or get live online interview practice from trained job coaches. Job coaches and patrons communicate via live chat in our online classroom. Available from 2 to 11 pm, 7 days a week.

Resume Lab: Job seekers receive expert resume/cover letter assistance from trained experts. Users are also able to download resume templates, or browse resources for producing better resumes. Uploaded resumes are returned with assistance (usually within 24 hours).

Career Resources: 24/7 access to career assessments, and recommended websites for job applications and career discovery.

AtoZ Databases is your one-stop job search resource!  Find job listings, build your resume, and sharpen your interview skills using AtoZ Databases’s  job, business and people searches.

Find Job Search:  Access easy-to-search job listings powered by Indeed, plus free resume and cover letter templates.  Complete your job application prep with interview skill tips and videos

Find a Business Search:  Research  corporate and financial details for potential employers.  Capture location and contact information to fill in resume details and references from earlier jobs.  

Find a Person Search:  Locate addresses and phone numbers for job references, professional contacts and friends.  “Platinum Search” helps you to track historical address information.

Discover the resources available at all of Public Library locations to support your job search and career discovery work:

Books - search the online catalog for topics including careers, resumes, occupations, professions

Magazines, Newspapers and Articles - all library branches offer a mix of current popular magazines and daily newspapers.  You'll also find a wealth of information and data through our online magazine and newspaper services.

Desktop and Office Services, including:  PCs w/ printers, faxing, (local numbers, only) and quiet study rooms.

Public Access Computers

  • Accessible with a Public Library card set up for PC use (no charge)
  • Internet service and Microsoft Office applications are available on all workstations
  • Printing is available at $.15 per page

Fax Service

  • Outgoing transmissions only, to local or toll-free numbers
  • Cost is $1.00 per transmission (up to 5 pages), plus $1.00 for each additional 5 pages (ex:  12 pages = $3.00)

Photocopiers

  • Available at all of the Public Library locations
  • Copiers are self-service
  • $.20 per copy (coin boxes accept $1.00 bills)
  • Letter, legal or ledger size, black & white only

Wi-Fi Service

  • Available at all of the Public Library locations
  • No charge for connectivity
