The South Valley Library is located one-quarter mile south of the intersection of Rio Bravo Blvd. and Isleta Blvd SW. The Library is at the intersection of Isleta Blvd. and Camino del Valle.

Freeway Directions:
Take I-25 south to the Rio Bravo exit, turn right and go west across the Rio Grande bridge to the signal at Isleta Blvd. and Rio Bravo Blvd. Turn left and go south on Isleta Blvd. to the first signal, at Camino del Valle.Turn left on Camino del Valle, and you will see the library on your right.

One-on-One Computer Session for Adults: English or Spanish
Clases de computación en inglés o en español: sesiones individuales.

 One-on-one class focuses on learning beginning computer skills such as navigating the Internet, typing a Word document or creating an email account. Classes are offered in English and Spanish on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Registration is required. Participants must have a library card in good standing.

Clases de computación en inglés o en español: sesiones individuales. Sábados a las 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  La clase enfoca en conceptos básicos para principiantes, introducción al internet, correo electrónico básico y introducción a Word. Se requieren reservaciones y participantes deben tener su tarjeta de biblioteca a buen orden.

 

South Valley has one meeting room that will hold a maximum of 32 people. Policy, rules and required forms for using the meeting room may be found at Meeting and Study Rooms as well as a list of meeting rooms at other branches.

Study Rooms

South Valley has two study rooms that will hold a maximum of four people each. A study room may be reserved (call 877-5170) up to one week in advance for no more than two hours per person/group a day. Check in at the Information Desk with your library card to gain access to the study room.

Fiction To Go  We are a Fiction to Go location! What is Fiction to Go? The Friends for the Public Library sells slightly used, recently published fiction titles for $2 for hardbacks and $1 for paperbacks. Like all funds that our Friends receive, all proceeds from Fiction to Go sales benefit the Public Library!

Duplo Club for Preschoolers!

Duplo Club for Preschoolers

Drop in between 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.to build with LEGO Duplos! This innovative toy from the makers of LEGO encourages younger children to develop their creativity, problem-solving ability and fine motor skills. All blocks are provided! Please bring a camera to remember thecreations, as the Legos live at the library and cannot be taken home.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
