About the program

Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless Staff at the Library

The Public Library Albuquerque and Bernalillo County partners with Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless (AHCH) to offer outreach services for individuals and families in need of health care and social services.

A client advocate is available at Main Library (5th and Copper - Downtown) to provide resources and referrals on community and health care services.

Hours are:  Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 4 pm

For more than 30 years AHCH has served our community as the only health care organization in central New Mexico dedicated exclusively to providing services to homeless people. Through outreach and on its campus (at the corner of 1st and Mountain Rd. - just north of downtown Albuquerque), AHCH provides critical services to over 7,000 men, women and children every year. By addressing the health-related causes of homelessness, AHCH makes it possible for people to find solutions to end their homelessness. We offer a diverse and very comprehensive set of services and programs including medical, dental, mental wellness and substance abuse treatment. Find Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless on Facebook and Twitter.
