Public Computers

All branches of the Public Library Albuquerque Bernalillo County have computers open to the public with Windows 7 operating systems and Microsoft Office 2013 with access to the Internet, electronic databases, and library catalogs. Every location also offers free Wi-Fi access during open hours.

Classes and One-on-One Support

Call your local branch to make an appointment to accommodate your schedule. Most classes require advance registration.


Alamosa:

One-on-One. Call to schedule an appointment.

Central & Unser:

One on One Thursdays, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Walk in computer help, no reservations needed.

Cherry Hills:

One-on-One Tablet Help. Fridays, 9 a.m. Registration required. Call to register or self-register by clicking on event from Cherry Hills event calendar.

East Mountain:

One-on-One Tablet Help. Fridays from 12 noon to 1 pm. Call to schedule.

Erna Fergusson:

One-on-One. Tuesdays, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Call to register for a class.

Juan Tabo:

Morning classes. Thursdays 10 a.m. at the Holiday Park Community Center.

Lomas Tramway:

One-on-One. Call to schedule an appointment.

Main Library:

Walk in computer help. No reservations needed. Sessions are limited to two customers at a time with our trainer. Wednesdays, 11 am to 12 noon and Thursdays 3 to 4 pm.

Rudolfo Anaya:

One-on-One. Thursdays, 11 a.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. Call to register for a class.

San Pedro:

One-on-One, Spanish help available. Call to schedule an appointment.

South Valley:

One-on-One, Bilingual English and Spanish. Thursday at 11 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. Call to schedule an appointment.

Taylor Ranch:

One-on-one. Bring your laptop, Kindle, tablet, or other electronic device. Sundays at 3 pm, Wednesdays at 6 pm, and Thursdays at 10 am. One person and device per session. Registration is required.

Computer Basics for Beginners @ TRCC. Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Paradise Hills Community Center. Help with personal devices (tablets, laptops, etc.) as well as basic computer assistance. Participants should bring all cords for personal devices and should also have a flash drive for saving work.

Introduction to Microsoft Word @ TRCC. Thursdays, January 18th through February 22nd, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. Three week course focused on using Microsoft Word to compose, edit, and format documents. Participants must have basic computer skills and a library card in good standing.
